CorteX 2015-2026 Mustang Stage 2 Suspension System
CorteX Racing Stage 2 Suspension System
S550 & S650 Mustang (2015–2026)
The CorteX Racing Stage 2 Suspension System is designed to take the Mustang’s handling capability even further by combining the geometry and chassis improvements of the Stage 1 system with the precision and adjustability of a true performance coil-over suspension.
Instead of focusing on just one component, Stage 2 addresses the key areas where the factory Mustang chassis limits performance — excessive compliance, inconsistent suspension geometry under load, and limited damping control.
By integrating a fully adjustable CorteX Xtreme-Grip Street Coil-Over System alongside critical suspension upgrades, the Stage 2 package delivers a Mustang that feels more planted, more responsive, and significantly more capable under aggressive driving conditions.
Drivers gain the ability to fine-tune ride height and damping characteristics while also benefiting from improved suspension geometry, reduced deflection, and better chassis control throughout the system.
The result is a Mustang that inspires confidence on the street and becomes even more capable on track.
This system reflects the same engineering philosophy CorteX Racing applies in professional motorsport programs. Our suspension solutions come from lessons learned in support of Mustang GT4 race teams, and CorteX mono-ball technology is used on the Ford Mustang Dark Horse R race car. At the same time, our components have built a strong reputation among grassroots racers and club-level drivers who demand real performance from their cars.
Stage 2 brings that same race-inspired approach to enthusiasts who want the next level of adjustability and performance from their Mustang.
Stage 2 System Components
The Stage 2 package combines carefully selected suspension components that work together to improve grip, chassis control, and driver confidence.
CorteX Xtreme-Grip Street Coil-Over System
At the heart of the Stage 2 package is the CorteX Xtreme-Grip Street Coil-Over System, replacing traditional lowering springs with a fully adjustable suspension solution.
• Adjustable ride height allows precise tuning of vehicle stance and suspension geometry
• Koni-based dampers with adjustable rebound provide control over handling balance
• Coil-over design improves responsiveness while maintaining street-friendly performance
Eibach Adjustable Sway Bars
Eibach sway bars help control body roll and allow drivers to fine-tune the handling balance of the chassis.
• Adjustable stiffness allows drivers to tune front-to-rear balance
• Reduces body roll during aggressive cornering
• Improves overall chassis stability and driver confidence
CorteX End-Link Kit
The CorteX End-Link Kit ensures the sway bars operate with maximum efficiency and precision.
• Eliminates deflection found in factory end links
• Provides stronger and more consistent sway bar engagement
• Improves suspension feedback and responsiveness
CorteX Toe Links
Toe links play a critical role in maintaining rear wheel alignment under heavy load.
• Prevent unwanted rear toe changes during acceleration and cornering
• Improve rear-end stability and predictability
• Increase durability compared to factory components
CorteX Vertical Links
Vertical links improve the geometry and stiffness of the Mustang’s rear suspension system.
• Reduce deflection found in factory rubber bushings
• Improve suspension response and chassis control
• Help maintain proper alignment under performance driving conditions
CorteX Mono-Ball Kit
The CorteX Mono-Ball Kit replaces factory rubber bushings with precision spherical bearings.
• Dramatically reduces suspension deflection
• Improves steering feedback and chassis precision
• Provides motorsport-level suspension articulation and accuracy
Who This System Is For
The CorteX Racing Stage 2 Suspension System is designed for Mustang owners who want significantly greater performance and adjustability than a traditional spring-based setup, while still maintaining a street-friendly driving experience.
This system is ideal for:
• Performance street drivers who want sharper handling and improved chassis control without sacrificing daily drivability
• Weekend canyon or backroad enthusiasts looking for greater confidence and feedback from their suspension
• Track day drivers who want the ability to fine-tune ride height and damping as their driving skill progresses
• Enthusiasts building a well-rounded performance Mustang that blends street usability with serious capability
Stage 2 represents a major step forward in suspension performance, giving drivers the adjustability and control needed to extract more from the Mustang chassis.
