The CorteX Racing Xtreme-Grip™ Track Rear Lower Control Arm Kit is engineered for S197 Mustang owners who demand maximum suspension precision and mechanical grip. Designed for dedicated track, autocross, and competition vehicles, these lightweight, double-adjustable control arms eliminate the compliance and bind associated with the factory rubber bushings, allowing the rear suspension to articulate freely and predictably under the most demanding conditions.
This kit is intended for customers who already have lower control arm relocation brackets installed or are maintaining factory control arm geometry. If your vehicle is lowered and does not currently have relocation brackets, we recommend pairing these control arms with the CorteX Racing Relocation Bracket System to restore proper suspension geometry and maximize rear grip.
Built for Performance
Unlike traditional polyurethane bushings that introduce friction and suspension bind, the CorteX Track System utilizes high-quality rod ends at both ends of the control arm. This allows unrestricted suspension movement as the axle rotates through both lateral and longitudinal loading, resulting in improved rear tire contact, increased predictability, and superior mechanical grip.
The result is a suspension that responds consistently corner after corner, providing the confidence required for competitive driving.

Track Use
The Track version is designed for maximum performance and utilizes spherical rod ends in place of compliant bushings. Increased suspension precision comes with additional noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) compared to the factory suspension and is recommended for performance-focused vehicles.
