Anti-Roll Sway Bar
Our CorteX Racing Rear S197 Anti-Roll Bar is a variable rate, 3-position, quick change anti-roll sway bar designed for the track-oriented enthusiast. This unit utilizes a quick change pin to allow you to instantly change sway bar positions at the track. Coupled with our adjustable rear sway bar end links, this sway bar is designed to minimize rear end bind, while providing low rear rates to allow for optimal rear suspension movement. Through our decades of experience in running S197 road race cars at all levels, from amateur to professional, we truly believe this bar to be the best-designed, engineered, and most proven rear bar setup on the market. This Cortex anti-roll sway bar system includes repositioned lower integrated sway-bar & lower control arm mounts.
Please note: due to the track-oriented nature of this part, you will experience additional noise from the rear sway bar. Removing the quick change pins and replacing with a proper fitting bolt will help eliminate unwanted noise for on-street usage.
Lower Control Arms
Adding lower control arms & relocation brackets are an essential for all S197 mustang owners looking to get the most out of their suspension. When lowering your 05-14 Mustang, the factory control arm geometry is altered, causing arms to move from parallel to positive which results in increased wheel hop and poor traction at launch. The CorteX track lower control arm & relocation bracket system fixes this problem by providing multiple mounting positions to allow you to optimize rear LCA suspension geometry. With two hole positions, the owner can customize the amount of anti-squat & roll center of the vehicle to improve traction at launch & reduce wheel hop.
Upper Position - Utilizing the top hole of our S197 lower control arm relocation brackets returns the control arm geometry to factory specifications for lowered 05-14 Mustangs. This setup is ideal for street, auto-cross, and road course driven S197's as it balances the level of anti-squat and roll center.
Lower Position - Utilizing the bottom hole of our S197 lower control arm relocation brackets provides a downward control arm angle which improves anti-squat at the expense of a heightened roll center. This setup is ideal for street or drag strip driven cars prioritizing hard launches at a slight expense to handling.
Track LCA System
Perfect for the no-compromise Mustang owner, our Track system uses rod-ends for maximum suspension articulation at the expense of some NVH increase. As the rear axle pivots under lateral and longitudinal forces, transferring these forces from the body, to the suspension, and then into the tires to create mechanical grip necessitates bind free articulation. Rod-ends provide maximum transfer and articulation as these forces transfer freely, without bind and unwanted deflection, resulting in the highest amount of traction and suspension predictability for cars where performance is an absolute must.

The CorteX Racing Xtreme-Grip Rear Sway Bar & Lower Control Arm System sets the standard for a lightweight adjustable Mustang lower control arm (LCA) system & proven road racing sway bar. We include heavy duty stainless steel spacers and high strength aluminum links. Our steel bar is fabricated 100% in house in our Ohio manufacturing facility. The drop down LCA brackets are a 1-piece design constructed from cold rolled steel that is powder coated for corrosion resistance and durability. Most importantly, these arms, brackets, and sway bar have been track tested for thousands of miles of racing conditions to ensure the utmost in reliability.
